Hello and welcome to my updated responsive personal site!
I'm a web & graphic designer living in Belgium with over ten years of expertise in creating web & print experiences for educational institutes and creative compagnies/people, all with a strong vision for the future.
I do concepts & create web strategies and products with a good understanding of my client needs and an excellent knowledge of technologies. I have a deep interest in emerging web design trends and have an overall passion for design & art.
While i'm reworking my portfolio & blog site Bene.be from the beginning of our existence (the magical year 2000) to a responsive design, keep track of my latest work here on this site, thanks!
Technical Skills
Little overview of what i'm good at
Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is my main application to start designs and projects, to start with overall mood boards over defining style guides to drawing a logo.
Photoshop
In Adobe Photoshop, I rework and fine tune photos & illustrations and start mock-ups for new (re)designs.
InDesign
Adobe InDesign remains the application to work in for prepress and print related documents, reports and other materials for print.
HTML5 / CSS3
Starting from scratch or a boilerplate, i love coding and creating templates with CSS and keep reading and learning about the evolving trends in web design. From one-pagers to fully functional style guides, web sites and applications.
E-mail marketing
Coding and styling e-mail marketing campaigns are a subject I know the ins and outs of. From starting gathering content to measuring the data of send campaigns.
CMS
Content management systems are the structures behind every website/application. I can work with most commonly known CMS's, using it to extend the capabilities of the site.
